For more than 20-years I’ve worked as a freelance consultant and direct hire with various multinationals and SME’s crafting and leading innovative and effective strategies and business plans that help companies sell their products in ASEAN’s high growth markets.
It all started in 1996 from Vancouver Canada by being hand-picked for a newly created position to lead ITW Performance Polymers’ specialty chemicals adhesives, sealant and coatings sales and marketing team of 15 in Japan, Korea, SE Asia, China, Australia and New Zealand.
In 1998 I was promoted to a leadership position presiding over the Asia region relocating to Singapore to navigate the business unit through the volatile Asia financial crisis. First year our team turned deficit into profitability, and for seven consecutive years we delivered record sales revenues and operating income.
While living and working in Singapore I became a permanent resident and married my Malay Singaporean wife in 2000. In 2003 I completed my MBA studies in Strategic International Marketing, and in 2005 I completed my MA in International Relations in Economy and Trade. I later earned my FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) Certificate as an International Trade and Business Professional in 2019, and most recently in 2023 I completed my Teaching Certificate for Higher and Continuing Education from Concordia University in Quebec Canada.
