For more than 20 years, I’ve worked both as a freelance consultant and as a direct hire with leading multinationals and SMEs, helping companies design and execute innovative strategies and business plans to successfully enter and grow in ASEAN’s high-growth markets.

My international career began in 1996 in Vancouver, when I was hand-picked for a newly created role to lead ITW Performance Polymers’ specialty chemicals adhesives, sealants, and coatings sales and marketing team of 15 across Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, China, Australia, and New Zealand.

In 1998, I was promoted to a senior leadership role and relocated to Singapore to guide the Asia business unit through the volatility of the Asian Financial Crisis. In our first year, we turned a deficit into profitability, and over the next seven years we consistently delivered record sales revenues and operating income.

During my time in Singapore, I became a permanent resident and, in 2000, married my Singaporean wife. Alongside my career, I advanced my education, earning an MBA in Strategic International Marketing (2003) and an MA in International Relations, Economy, and Trade (2005). I later attained professional certifications, including the FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) Certificate in International Trade and Business (2019) and, most recently, the Teaching Certificate for Higher and Continuing Education from Concordia University, Canada (2023).

“The best part of Asia is being part of it. My passion lies in building successful businesses and forging partnerships built on trust and confidence.”
